MYLO Spirit

Spirit is the element of internal intuition, depth, and alignment. When you choose this element, you are opening yourself to a more inward way of connecting with your body.

MYLO Spirit is your companion and tool for creating moments of presence and energetic alignment. It supports rituals that help you listen inward, follow what feels true, and return to yourself with a greater sense of wholeness.

Ritual ideas

• Reflection ritual. Before beginning, find ways to notice your mental and emotional state. This could be through an emotional body scan (more on this below), a structured journaling exercise, or a meditation. Spirit rituals often work best when you approach them with curiosity and honesty.
• Intention ritual. Use MYLO Spirit as the beginning of a deeper practice: think deeply about what you want to feel, receive, or realign with. And set that intention through writing it down, speaking it out loud, or creating a mantra that you can repeat throughout your experience.
• Alignment ritual. Connect the physical sensations your body is experiencing with your mind’s internal experiences of those sensations. How do certain sensations make you feel or react in the moment? What do you think about in that moment of release? Is that how you want to react? This could look like speaking those feelings out loud to yourself, integrating them through notes or journaling, or taking a quick recording of your thoughts and playing it back later. Connect the sensations to a deeper and more complete inner knowing.
• Afterconnection ritual. End in a way that allows you to close the loop, so the experience feels integrated and energetically complete. This could again look like journaling with the intention to review later, a bit of movement practice like yoga or stretching to help lock the feelings into your body and mind at the same time, or silent meditation to settle into those feelings.

Create a space that feels sacred, calm, and unhurried. Silence all technology and give yourself a comfortable cocoon of privacy and peace. Choose an area that feels sacred or revelatory to you, and build a temporary altar for your body in that moment. Let the room support your attention to your experience, sensations, and thoughts.

Use an emotional body scan to turn your mind inward, thinking deeply about what you're feeling emotionally in that moment, and where in your body you feel it. Take a moment to focus on that feeling and that spot. Once you feel you have a good understanding of what it is, say the emotion out loud. Being attuned with yourself doesn’t always mean being calm or content, sometimes it must be more focused on accepting your current state and endeavoring to move through it.  

Now, set an intention either verbally or mentally. It could be as simple as alignment, clarity, or connection. Spirit responds to presence — to choosing what you want to come back into harmony with.

Turn on the Tendril and explore this new sensation against the area that holds that emotion. Gradually spread that sensation to other areas of the body, keeping the thread of connection and following what feels natural to you. Integrate the other features of your MYLO Spirit as your body awakens to the sensations. 

Let the ritual unfold, stay attentive and curious, but without judgement. Notice your breath and any shifts in energy or ebbing and flowing of emotions. Allow sensation to guide you toward presence and awareness of your body and emotions, rather than outcome. MYLO Spirit is designed to deepen the moment, not define it.

When the experience feels complete, stay with the afterconnection. A few quiet breaths, a note in your journal, or a moment of gratitude can help close the ritual gently and carry that sense of connection forward.
